Olson Land and Cattle Beef is owned and operated by us, Trevor and Tristan Olson. We raise Angus beef cattle along with row crops on a fourth-generation family farm in central South Dakota. Our passion for the beef industry fuels our everyday lives. Our Mission
Being in the cattle industry, we are constantly challenged to evolve and improve our operation. We understand the importance of incorporating beef in a healthy diet. The management strategies we implement on our operation helps us produce high quality beef we are able to enjoy, and we want to share the experience with you. Our mission is simple: We strive for producing the highest quality, yet affordable beef for families to enjoy.
Our Operation
At Olson Land and Cattle, we challenge ourselves to bring out the best in our cattle. Precisely picking the genetics introduced into our herd by the process of artificial insemination plays a huge role in helping us achieve our goals. Selecting proven Angus bulls with excellent carcass traits and bulls who will produce structured, yet powerful offspring is our main objective. Our cattle are all finished on a grain diet which helps us produce more marbling on the carcasses of our beef. Marbling adds a tremendous amount of flavor and increases the tenderness and moisture in the beef.
